The 5-th International Conference on Quarks and Nuclear Physics--QNP09 will convene in Beijing between September 21 and 26, 2009.

The goal of the conference is to advance the knowledge of the strong interactions.

QNP09 is the successor to

• QNP06, IVth International Conference on Quarks and Nuclear Physics held in Madrid, Spain, in 2006.
• QNP04, IIId International Conference on Quarks and Nuclear Physics held in Bloomington, Indiana, USA, in 2004.
• QNP02, IInd International Conference on Quark Nuclear Physics held in Juelich, Germany, in 2002.
• International Conference on Quark Nuclear Physics held in Adelaide, Australia, in 2000.
• International Conference on Quark Lepton Nuclear Physics held in Osaka, Japan, in 1997.
