Title: Left-right asymmetry for pion and kaon production in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering process

Abstract:
We analyze the left-right asymmetry of pion and kaon produntion in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering process of unpolarized charged lepton on transversely polarized nucleon target using a theory independent method which is free of any theoretical bias. We use the latest parametrization of Sivers and fragmentation functions in which the parametrization of u bar, d bar, s and s bar quarks are first presented in addition to u and d quarks, that make it possible to get a comprehensive result especially for kaon where s or s bar quark dominates. We present numerical calculations at both HERMES kinematics for the proton target, Jefferson Lab kinematics for the proton and neutron target and Compass kinematics for proton neutron and deuteron target.
